Tabouli is made of bulgar wheat, cucumber, tomato and chopped parsley. It can also have nint, onion, garlic, and it has an olive oil and lemon juice dressing. It is a very nutritious dish.

Humus and Pita

Humus is a thick spread made mostly from chickpeas (Garbanzo beans), mixed with olive oil, and spiced. It is a great source of protein, and tastes. It can be eaten spread over any bread, or used as a dip for vegetables like carrots, broccoli, etc.

Greek salad is just one of the many kinds of salads you can eat. It is usually lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, olives and onions in an oil and vinegar dressing. It often comes with feta cheese, but if you are avoiding dairy, you can simply ask that to be replaced with any type of bean.
